About Me
I provide photography and cinematography for weddings, lifestyle events, real estate, general portraiture internationally, and I also provide aerial photography and cinematography and am FAA Part 107 Certifed - Remote Pilot in Command. With clients in multiple countries and multiple destination weddings under our belt, we have found a way to include our passion for travel in our business.
Crowell Productions was founded in 2014 by Erik Crowell and rebranded in 2019. My combined experience in photography, cinematography, aerial imagery, and media creation coupled with passion for capturing memories, moments, and the true essence of a second in time leads to a unique, memorable experience. I strive to capture what can’t be put in words and to give you the opportunity to relive those experiences time and time again.

Erik Crowell - Founder / Photographer
Hi - I’m Erik. I like to capture your moments because I think moments deserve to be remembered. As a kid, my dad (see below) instilled a passion for photography (he literally had a darkroom in our basement). I grew up with cameras in my hands, and loved every minute of it. Once I settled down with a family of my own, my passion for capturing precious moments grew stronger and before I knew what hit me, I knew being a photographer was what I had always wanted to do.
Though I went to college for visual media, I settled into a regular 9 to 5 and never truly thought I’d get to incorporate photography into a career. I am so lucky to have achieved just that. After my first wedding, I was hooked. I am so thankful that I have a career that not only fulfills me as an artist, but as a human being. The fact that people entrust me to document these important moments in their lives is incredibly special to me. I want nothing more than to tell the best story possible through stunning photos and video
Fun Facts: Licensed Remote Pilot in Command for Small Unmanned Aerial Systems; Huge wine-o; Enjoys spending time with kids; always has the newest tech; is obsessed with Star Wars; has 2 cats; and engaged to a wonderful woman.

Hi - I’m Eric. The original. You may be wondering why our names are spelled differently, but that’s a subject for another day.
Photography and capturing moments has always been a passion of mine. Raising 4 sons only added to that passion. I have been a photographer for over 30 years. I have dreamed of running a full time photography business for a long time, and could not be more excited that I am lucky enough to be able to incorporate my passion into a career.
As a photographer, I live to capture the moment and convey that subject through my lens. Bringing that to life, whether it’s the emotions being felt, a subtle gesture, expression, or simply the way two people interact, is what I strive for. I shoot to tell a story. The story of a home, the story of a couple, the story of a family, whatever the story is, I strive to capture that authentically.
Fun Facts: Erik’s Dad; I have 4 sons, 2 dogs, also am obsessed with Star Wars, and my drink of choice is a margarita.
